A MOTHER WANTINGTHE BEST FOR HER BABY

Sometimes a simple situation can spark an opportunity. That's kind of like my story. I moved to Sri Lanka three years ago. I was born and raised in France, so I found it hard to adjust. I loved the island, but I simply didn't know it so well.

Soon I was a new mother with a beautiful baby girl. From day one Valentina was my concern — I wanted her to have everything she needed. This became my number one mission. But life didn't just stop. Soon I was back to work, running around, juggling all those things mothers do. Things were more hectic than ever.

Over time I found all the baby essentials, but food was a problem. Valentina wasn't a big eater, so the little she ate had to be as healthy as possible — and finding the right food was difficult.

I searched the markets and shops for hours, wasting precious time. So many things are filled with additives, artificial sweeteners, salt and fat. All I wanted was fresh, homemade food, made with natural and organic ingredients. So I thought: why not make it myself? I could make life a little easier for many parents out there.

And with that, Baby Valentina came alive. I have kept going ever since.
